On July 14, Mr. Qi Qianjin, the Ambassador of the P. R. China to the Republic of Croatia, met with Mr. Goran Kapičić, Director General of Infobip China. Mr. Zhang Yu, Second Secretary of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy, accompanied them.

Ambassador Qi said that he was very pleased to see the successful development of Infobip in China. Despite the impact of the epidemic, China-Croatia bilateral economic and trade cooperation maintained steady growth. The Peljesac Bridge, built by China Road and Bridge Corporation, would be completed and opened to traffic at the end of July. The Chinese company had completed the construction of this important project on schedule and with high quality, which had won praise from people both in Croatia and China, and had become a symbol of China-Croatia cooperation and friendship. China is an important promoter of economic globalization, and the door of opening up would only open wider. The Chinese Embassy in Croatia would, as always, support and promote more mutually beneficial cooperation between enterprises of the two countries. The Ambassador expressed his hope that Kapičić would use his work and life experience in China as an example to introduce an objective and real China to Croatian people from all walks of life.

Kapičić said that he had worked and lived in China for 29 years and had witnessed the great changes since the reform and opening up. China is one of the safest countries with the best business environment in the world, with an efficient government, a huge market, friendly people, and a lot of talent. He expressed his full confidence in Infobip’s development in China and his willingness to play the role of "an old China hand" to convey the true image of China to all circles in Croatia. At the same time, he is looking forward to more cooperation with Chinese enterprises.

Infobip is a high-tech company whose main business is Communication Platform Services (CPaaS). It entered China in 2013 and currently has offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Taipei.
