President of the Supreme People's Court of China H.E.Mr. Zhou Qiang Visits Croatia

From April 23rd to 25th, upon the invitation from H.E.Mr. Branko Hrvatin, the President of the Supreme Court of Republic of Croatia, H.E.Mr. Zhou Qiang, the President of the Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China paid a successful visit to Croatia. During the visit, H.E. Zhou Qiang respectively met with Mr. Andrej Plenkovic, the Prime Minister of Croatia, Mr. Branko Hrvatin, the President of the Supreme Court of Croatia, Mr. Miroslav Separovic, the President of Constitutional Court of Croatia, Mrs. Josita Begovic, the President of the County Court in Dubrovnik. Both sides exchanged views on bilateral relations, judicial reform, information construction, people to people exchange and training, reaching consensus on taking the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Croatia as an opportunity to further deepen cooperation and exchange in judicial affairs, provide strong judicial guarantee for bilateral cooperation in all areas and bring forward the China-Croatia relations to a new level.

During the visit, H.E. Zhou Qiang and H.E.Mr. Branko Hrvatin, the President of the Supreme Court of Croatia signed the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the two Supreme Courts. H.E. Zhou Qiang also visited Municipal Criminal Court of Zagreb, the Faculty of Law of University of Zagreb.

H.E. Ambassador Hu Zhaoming accompanied the delegation and attended all related events.
