Chinese Embassy Hosts Music Concert on the Occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations Between China and Croatia

On May 16, Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Croatia held a music concert in Croatian National Academy of Sciences and Arts to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations Between China and Croatia. Nearly 200 guests attended the concert, including H.E. Mr. Hu Zhaoming, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Gordan Bakota, Assistant Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia, Mr. Damir Boras, Rector of the University of Zagreb, guests of politics, commerce, civil societies, China-founded institutions, Confucius Institute and overseas students.

Under the support of Ministry of Culture, the "Yue Yun" of Central Conservatory of Music of China paid a special trip to Croatia and brought the audience a brilliant Chinese folk music feast. "Croatian Rhapsody" recreated by "Yue Yun" won applause and cheers from the audience. Students from Music Academy of the University of Zagreb, Ivan Goran Kovačić Folk Assembly jointly sang Croatian folk songs. In the end, China and Croatia youth musicians played "Jasmine", bringing the concert to a climax. The concert was full of friendly, harmonious and blessed atmosphere.  

After the performance, H.E. Ambassador Hu Zhaoming, along with Croatian guests, congratulated the musicians for a successful performance and took a group photo together.
